Qualifications for Register of Deeds
- In my various professions I have successfully organized, motivated, and managed developing skills that I can apply to the Register of Deeds office for maximized service to the public
- I can save the county money with efficiency, including the elimination of the very position I now seek by merging the Register of Deeds with the County Clerks office.
Why me, and not my opponents?
- I am the only Democratic candidate concerned enough four years ago to have run for Register of Deeds against the incumbent in 2004.
- I am the only Democratic candidate who four years ago considered merging the Register of Deeds with the County Clerk to save money.
- I am not a career politician, nor have I spent my life on the public payroll. I have had to compete in the real world where you perform or perish.
- My opponents, including those who presently hold public office have done nothing in the last four years to change anything at the Register of Deeds.
