Networking
Bringing members together is part of creating community and an important function of any chamber of commerce. The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce sponsors networking events each month that range from educative and informative to just plain fun. Take a look.

Eye-Opener Breakfast
The Regional Chamber invites a local expert to explore an issue of interest and importance to local businesspersons at each Eye-Opener Breakfast event. Held the third Thursday of every other month, the meeting begins with 7:30 a.m. networking at a local restaurant. Breakfast follows, with a presentation shortly thereafter. Intersperse with a little bit of Regional Chamber information and you're off to work a little after nine. Cost:

Lunch Is On Us
Who says there's no free lunch? We have one on the second Wednesday of every month at a local restaurant, business or nonprofit organization. The sponsor supplies lunch for all who RSVP and in return makes a presentation about their organization to the attendees. We've had lunches everywhere from the Redwood Lodge and the Big Easy to the Flint Cultural Center and the Boys and Girls Club. All businesspersons are welcome at no charge, but we do ask you to RSVP by the morning of the event. If you have to cancel, we don't mind just call us and we'll pass the information along to our host.

After Hours Connection
Every now and then we all need a time out from work–even networking. So every other month we host our After Hours Connection program at a local restaurant or pub. It's purely a social gathering. No educational seminar, no sponsor program. Just some appetizers provided by the proprietor and Regional Chamber members getting to know each other and their interests. Join us and you'll enjoy meeting other Regional Chamber members and sharing some "down time" with people with interests like yours
