Reporting the accomplishments of Genesee County’s leadership groups
Partners for Progress is a program of the Regional Leadership Council at the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce. The program’s main purpose is to demonstrate that our business leaders are working together on a plan of economic revitalization and partnering with multiple community groups to make Genesee County a better place to invest, work, raise a family, get an education and recreate.
As we face the challenges of the global economy it is all too easy to lose sight of the many extraordinary attributes of this community, its hard working citizens and the public and private sector organizations that drive change and improve our quality of life.
Partners for Progress is a commitment from the leadership at the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce to identify, highlight, promote and celebrate the many accomplishments of this community. Partners for Progress will regularly publicize programs in economic development, education and workforce initiatives and the continuing renaissance of downtown Flint. It is our intent to continuously report on the many projects underway and remind the citizenry of the many positive assets this community enjoys, assets that any other community in the United States would be honored to own.
Partners for Progress is a clear sign that the business community has a plan and is working hard to create a new and vibrant future for Flint and Genesee County. The Regional Leadership Council at the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce invites all organizations which work for a better community to join in the Partners for Progress program so together we can celebrate progress and share a positive vision for the future.
